Just pretty good? Yeah, I think so. The first 2/3 of that movie had me in complete awe. I was sitting there thinking it was one of my favourite movies of all time. Up there with V For Vendetta and Gladiator. Something happened though in the last 1/3 that really didn’t do much for me. I’m not really sure what, and that’s the point.
Also, by the end I was really getting a bit tired of Batman’s voice. I know it’s a weird thing to pick at, but why does he have to grumble every word? I get he has to disguise his voice, but you don’t have to bark. Someone needs to give Christian Bale a Halls Mentho-Lyptus. The Joker on the other hand was something special to watch. Heath Ledger’s acting kind of had the same feel as Denzel Washington in Training Day, where you just knew they were going to get the Oscar.
It was a solid movie, and it probably lived up to most of the hype, but in the end, I wouldn’t go much further than saying it was pretty good. Pret-tayyyyyyy, pret-tayyyyyyy, pret-tayyyyyyy, pretay good (although that has nothing to do with Batman, I’m really into Curb Your Enthusiasm right now and couldn’t resist).

the imax experience blew me away. I feel like they would have liked to have had the joker in the next one.
predictions on the next villain(s)?

That’s a tricky one. The new franchise has taken a serious approach on the new films. All of the other villians are kind of cheesy (e.g. the Penguin, Mr.Freeze, Riddler). My money would be on two-face because they can put an evil spin on him.
They could maybe do a film where Batman and Robin are mini, but the Joker is full size. That’d be cool.

That’s so funny. I do recall somebody saying Bale was the best Batman ever!?

I saw in the preview that Harvey Dent is in the new Batman right? Well he’s two face so I think there’s your answer!

Thanks Mr.Ruin-the-movie-for me! =)
Well, seems as though my guess was square on the nuts though.

Ha ha, my bad, I haven’t seen it either! I was just stating that the guys name is Harvey Dent.

Christian Bale IS the best batman ever! Good point Clifton about the joker. For those that haven’t seen it, you’ll laugh at these comments once you do.
***Spoiler Alert***
Oh, and future villains? I gotta roll with cat woman since Bruce Wayne’s comment about his suit if you’ll recall.

i thought the same thing
but didn’t wanna say it on here and ruin it for people that possible hadn’t seen it yet.

I definitely vote Bale as the best Batman/Bruce Wayne. I finally saw Dark Knight tonight and I already wanna go and see it again. Rumour has it that they’ve got a bit of unused Heath Ledger footage that could cobble together for a brief bit in the third movie, but it’s probably just internet nerds dreaming.

I think it’s confirmed that Angelina Jolie will be playing Catwoman in the next Batman.

Stop it…seriously? I’m loving the Collins Bay throw back comments. Who’s going to comment next, Will Cody? LoL
